Floors on a concrete slab, with Floor Pro
Thermal insulation for floors on a concrete slab, in a single layer: it reflects underfloor heating heat back into the room, stops moisture from the foundation and dampens footfall noise.

Three zones, each with its own role
Floor Pro is installed directly on the concrete slab, with the aluminium foil facing downwards. Above it come the thermal insulation layer or the studded heating panels, followed by the screed and the finish.
The heat remains in the room
The aluminium reflective layer sends radiant heat back towards the room, instead of allowing it to be lost into the concrete slab. The floor reaches comfort temperature more quickly, and the heat is distributed evenly.
Moisture from the foundation stays below
On the concrete slab, the membrane prevents moisture from the foundation from rising into the floor layers. It protects the polystyrene, the studded panels, the wool and the screed. Sd above 1500 m.
Sd (m): the extent to which the membrane resists the passage of vapour, expressed as an equivalent air layer thickness; high Sd = vapour barrier, low Sd = diffusion membrane, which allows vapour to escape. What it means →Less footfall noise
The air-bubble structure dampens vibrations and impact noise transmitted through the floor.
